Amen, amen.

Once again, I am in awe of God. What a gathering we had yesterday. Ten people joined our family. The Agape Feast was basically standing room only. The Holy Spirit was evident and working. Church, this is no longer something that happens every now and again. This is the new norm. The anticipation is obvious. The readiness is encouraging. The blessing is abundant. God is doing a mighty work at Cedar Grove. To this I respond, "so be it."

We cannot become complacent. We must press forward. We must continue to gather in Jesus name anticipating Him to work. We must continue to come to church ready and willing to worship freely and reverently. We must continue to give cheerfully and generously. We must continue to serve consistently and joyfully. Remember, ministry matters. How can you help? We have an amazing core of volunteers who work tirelessly for the Lord at Cedar Grove. They need help. Will you help? I pray you will.

As we steward this season of growth, let's understand that change is inevitable. The more people join our family the more we will have different backgrounds and perspectives. May we keep focus on what matters. Our purpose is to love others unconditionally, learn about God increasingly, live to share Jesus intentionally, and lead others to Christ continually in Lebanon TN, and throughout the world. Everything else is simply preference. Discomfort is the only way to get stronger. As we grow there will be growing pains. May we take delight in this pain! As we move forward lets be reminded of how Paul viewed ministry...

19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. 20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law. 22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. 23 I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.1 Corinthians 9:19–23.

I would rather lead no other church than Cedar Grove. I thank God in the lows and thank Him for the highs. I love my church family. Thank you for the constant encouragement. I know seasons change, so let's enjoy the one we are in, and trust God for tomorrow! By the way... we have 58 men registered for REAL MOMENTUM Weekend and 45 women registered for the Women's Discipleship Study. I am blown away. That means 103 of our men and women will be poured into and discipled. To that I respond amen, amen! Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
